The Supervisory Board has decided to hand over responsibility for the entire management board to Joachim Ley, Chief Production Officer. Ley, a graduate in industrial engineering, has been the company's COO (Chief Production Officer) since 2021. The experienced manager was also responsible for production, purchasing, and central logistics and processes. Joachim Ley is 47 years old, married, and has two children. After completing his studies, he took on various management positions in operations. Before Ziehl-Abegg, he was responsible for many years as a board member in a market-leading supplier to the aviation industry. At that time, his focus was already in northern Württemberg.
