Ziehl-Abegg achieved sales of over one billion euros for the first time in 2025, which corresponds to growth of over 12% compared to the previous year. The global workforce increased from 5,300 to 5,800 employees. Despite challenges such as exchange rate fluctuations and geopolitical uncertainties, the foreign markets of the USA and China in particular contributed to the success. The USA is the largest foreign market, accounting for over 20 percent of sales, while the focus in China is on regional product developments.
A technological world first is the development of an elevator synchronous machine without magnets made of rare earths, which makes production independent of geopolitical risks. Ziehl-Abegg was able to further strengthen its position as a technology leader, supported by a high level of vertical integration and innovations in bionic fan design. The company's products are available in over 100 countries and are used in various industries.
