For Visometry, the past year was characterized by growth and customer acquisition: in 2023, the company managed to successfully expand its presence on an international level. “Developing new markets and industries was a key topic for us last year,” explains Dr. Harald Wuest, CEO and co-founder. “We have achieved this with our innovative solutions for the development of our own industrial AR applications and quality assurance in the industrial sector.”

With the VisionLib engine, Visometry offers a globally proven AR tracking solution. With Twyn, the team has also developed a turnkey solution for visual quality inspection that not only makes inspections using digital twins and AR more flexible, but also significantly accelerates inspection processes and thus reduces manufacturing costs. In order to serve global customer needs even better, the company relies on continuous optimization of its software solutions. Last year it took a significant step towards automation with Twyn - for even easier operation and more user-friendliness.

In 2023, this convinced numerous customers from a wide range of industries: Visometry gained around 100 new customers from the automotive and mechanical engineering industries, the railway industry and metalworking, where the technology is used every day. These include, among others, the agricultural technology and commercial vehicle manufacturer KRONE, the rail vehicle manufacturer CZ LOKO and the welding and production line provider Slavia Production Systems. As a result, the Visometry development team has also grown significantly in order to meet the increasing inquiries and requirements from customers.

For the current year, Visometry plans to continue its growth path. In addition to consolidating the presence in existing markets such as Germany, Italy, Eastern Europe and the USA, Japan in particular is the focus of further internationalization. In addition, the company aims to develop additional industries and areas of application. The team wants to achieve this with new automation functionalities that support customers even more effectively in their daily work processes in quality assurance.
