Vision Engineering Acquires Lens Housing Manufacturer

With the acquisition of Milturn, Vision Engineering aims to expand the existing manufacturing base in the UK and US.

Vision Engineering has announced the transfer of Milturn Precision Engineering. The company was founded in 2001, employs 21 people, and specialises in components such as high performance lens housings for the optical/film/camera and marine/automotive industries. Ian Mustard, owner and director of Milturn, is confident that Vision Engineering will implement the strategy and investment to take Milturn Engineering forward. Vision Engineering manufactures ergonomic optical and digital stereo instruments used to inspect, manipulate, measure and analyse manufactured parts.
