Visiconsult completes acquisition of CT manufacturer Diondo
Visiconsult officially completed the acquisition of 51 percent of the shares in CT manufacturer Diondo on November 17. Both companies continue to operate independently.
Following an initial agreement in July this year, Visiconsult acquired 51 percent of the shares in Diondo GmbH on November 17. The company's CT product line will be added to the portfolio of the VCxray business unit. Diondo's CT systems thus complement the low-cost ECO line, the sophisticated PRO line and the customer-specific X line. Customers will thus be able to choose from a wide range of solutions depending on the inspection task at hand.
In addition, the two companies will work closely together on a number of initiatives in the future. In this way, Diondo will become the Center of Excellence for CT technology within Visiconsult. Close collaboration at the development level will ensure the seamless integration of Diondo into Visiconsult's X-OS ecosystem. Nevertheless, both will continue to operate as independent companies.
