User's Meeting with an Automotive Focus

For more than 30 years now, Perceptron - a well-known supplier of optical gauging technology - has been placing dedicated focus on the automotive industry. Recently, the company was able to celebrate its success by hosting a user-focused event in Bad Wimpfen (Southern Germany) with over 50 international guests. Both during and after this users' meeting, the feedback of the participating metrology users was very positive. Seven speakers from different European automotive assembly plants - all of them experienced metrology users themselves - were able to provide the audience with practical insights into their various optical gauging applications and with fresh ideas for future planning.

During two optional training sessions and multiple demonstrations, the metrology users were also introduced to Perceptron's new technology and gauging solutions. In animated conversations with participants from other companies facing similar professional challenges and with the host's expert team, practical experiences were exchanged, development trends were discussed and new contacts were established. A guided tour through the body shop of the nearby Audi plant in Neckarsulm was the crowning conclusion of the event. Perceptron's next users' meeting is scheduled to take place in mid-June 2013.
