Trade fair Optatec will not take place in 2020

The trade fair for optical technologies, components and systems Optatec is cancelled. This was announced by the organizer P.E. Schall. The next Optatec will take place in Frankfurt from the 17th through the 19th of May, 2022, as scheduled.

"All of the prerequisites were met for the optical technology industry to come together for its traditional trade fair meeting in Frankfurt this November", says Bettina Schall, managing director of P. E. Schall. Many exhibitors were also eagerly awaiting the start of the trade fair on November 17. However, the current increase in corona virus infection figures has led the promoters to the conclusion that they should refrain from holding the trade fair.

Optatec takes place virtually instead

At Optatec-Virtual, exhibitors present their highlights and new products in digital showrooms in the fields of optical components, optomechanics, optoelectronics, fiber optics, fiber optics, fiber optics, laser components and manufacturing systems. Using a thematically focused search engine, trade visitors to the virtual trade show can select desired information using the trade show nomenclature or enter keywords to obtain specific relevant hits for their business.
