Following the acquisition, Nerian will be integrated into the TKH Vision machine vision division. Like the other companies in this division, it will continue to sell its products under the Nerian brand. Existing partnerships are also to remain in place.

Dr. Konstantin Schauwecker, Managing Director of Nerian, comments on the acquisition: "We are proud to join TKH Vision and expand their capabilities of in both industrial and non-industrial applications. Nerian will benefit from the synergy of the larger commercial organization and well-established supply-chain and production facilities of TKH, which will greatly accelerate Nerian’s ability to capture market share and we look forward to this next phase in our development.”

Mark Radford, Vice President of TKH Vision, adds: "Combined with our extensive market reach, advanced software, and turnkey solution capabilities, Nerian’s 3D cameras will allow for new solutions for challenging applications, including mobile robotics and autonomous vehicles, bin-picking and robot guidance across a variety of markets, such as logistics, factory automation, agriculture and construction."

Nerian's stereo vision sensors - with model Scarlet it is currently participating in the inspect award 2022 - generate stereo vision images with over 70 million 3D points per second and frame rates of up to 125 Hz and process them into 3D data, which is sufficiently fast to capture high-resolution 3D data in near and far range in real time. The cameras are available with IP67 protection for use in very harsh environments and with synchronized inertial measurement units in the sensors. They are also fully compatible with active pattern projectors to increase accuracy for difficult-to-measure objects.

TKH Vision, whose sales increased 30.7 percent in H2 2021, includes the following companies with the recent acquisition:
