Stemmer Imaging raises sales and earnings forecast
After a strong increase in business figures in the first half of 2021, Stemmer Imaging is raising its sales and earnings forecast for the full year. Accordingly, the machine vision company is increasing its sales target by almost 11 percent and its earnings forecast by a good 50 percent.

Based on the preliminary half-year figures and supported by the strong order backlog as well as current estimates for the second half of the year, Stemmer Imaging is increasing its guidance for fiscal year 2021. The Executive Board now expects full-year revenues between 123 and 131 million Euros (Previously, the upper range was between 111 and 121 million Euros.) and an operating result (EBITDA) between 12.2 and 15.4 million Euros (Previously, the upper range was between 7.8 and 10.2 million Euros.).
Jump in sales and profits in the first half of 2021
According to preliminary figures, Stemmer Imaging achieved sales of 64.7 million Euros for the first half of 2021, 23.9 percent more than in the same period last year. The operating result (EBITDA) rose to 7.9 million Euros, an increase of 244.5 percent year-on-year.
Despite the deteriorating global supply situation in the second quarter, the company benefited from the continued good market development and its strategic positioning on value-added services in industrial and non-industrial sectors.
