Spectaris Strengthens Expertise in Digital Regulation and AI
Since August 1, Maximilian Kunze has been serving as an advisor to the German Industry Association for Optics, Photonics, Analytical and Medical Technology
He monitors national and European legislative processes with a focus on digital regulation. This includes tracking regulatory developments, analyzing new legislation, and preparing practical summaries of these developments for member companies.
Kunze formulates the association’s positions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital standards, and develops information and service offerings for the industry. He also coordinates dialogue with policymakers and partner organizations in Berlin and Brussels. Previously, Kunze served as Political Communications Manager at Forschungsfabrik Mikroelektronik Deutschland and within the Fraunhofer Microelectronics Group, bringing with him experience at the intersection of technology, research, and politics.
