Solidline becomes a Creaform partner

Partnership with Solidline to make Creaform's 3D scanning solutions for product development and manufacturing accessible to Solidworks customers and other industrial companies

Creaform, a provider of portable and automated metrology solutions, announces that it has entered into a partnership with Solidline, a provider of PLM solutions for product development and manufacturing from Solidworks, 3D Systems and CAMWorks in Germany. The partnership aims to combine Creaform's 3D scanning and software solutions with Solidworks' strengths and Solidline's expertise

Solidline's PLM portfolio includes solutions and services in 3D design, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, validation, product data management (PDM), visualization, technical communication, electrical systems and manufacturing (CAM). The Creaform HandyScan-3D-Silver series and the VXelement software with its modules VXinspect and VXmodel extend the Solidline portfolio in the areas of 3D design, 3D printing as well as inspection. In particular, Creaform's VXmodel software is a reinforcement for Solidworks, as the module intelligently and easily prepares scan data for reverse engineering and 3D model creation via direct interface for Solidworks.
