The modular SST is connected to medium-voltage grids up to 36 kV and provides a galvanically isolated 800 VDC output voltage for direct coupling to DC distribution and load systems.

The goal is to provide a compact, efficient alternative to multi-stage AC/DC architectures. Direct grid-to-rack conversion reduces intermediate stages, space requirements, and system complexity. The robust system architecture is designed for high availability and rapid response to load changes, such as those encountered in AI training workloads.

Reinhausen contributes its expertise in voltage regulation, power quality, and medium-voltage power electronics. Siemens complements this with expertise in power electronics, grid integration, and protection and automation technology. The solution is modularly scalable and adaptable to different grid connection conditions.
