Siemens and Sparepartsnow Expand Their Lineup of Refurbished Automation Products
Siemens and the B2B platform Sparepartsnow have formed a partnership to facilitate access to refurbished Siemens automation products
Through Sparepartsnow’s digital marketplace, industrial customers can now purchase drives, controllers, and HMI panels refurbished by Siemens.
The “refurbished by Siemens” approach combines Siemens’ manufacturing expertise in refurbishment with Sparepartsnow’s digital reach. Each device undergoes a standardized process that includes technical repairs, necessary hardware and software updates, cosmetic refurbishment, and comprehensive functional testing. The goal is to maintain the original technical specifications, product characteristics, and safety and compliance requirements.
The partnership supports longer product lifecycles, improves the availability of critical components, and contributes to resource conservation. The offering will launch with a select range of products in Europe and is set to be expanded gradually both regionally and in terms of product variety.
