Sensor manufacturer Sick expands executive board to six members

The "Operations" department, newly created as of January 1, 2020, combines the former Purchasing and Quality departments, which are now at Management Board level. The person responsible is Dr. Tosja Zywietz (48), who was most recently Chairman of the Executive Board at the Bavarian technology company Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik. He studied in Göttingen and in the USA and earned his doctorate in theoretical physics.

Klaus Bukenberger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sick, cites the increasingly global activities of the sensor technology manufacturer and the resulting increasing complexity of production and supply chains as reasons for the new Executive Board position. In his view, Zywietz' task now is to design these processes efficiently in order to maintain the company's quality standards globally.
