Sensirion expands production capacities
The company has started construction of a new production building in Stäfa.
The modern facility will be built on Laubisrütistrasse over the next two and a half years and will provide highly classified clean rooms for the semiconductor industry. This will not only secure the long-term future of the company in the region, but also over 800 jobs. Due to the full utilization of the existing building, the new building F will create the necessary capacity for further growth and technological developments.
As a system-relevant supplier, Sensirion must guarantee maximum supply security and is therefore planning a redundant production site. In addition, the construction of an office building on Moritzberg is planned to cover the need for engineers. The sustainable building will be constructed in accordance with the Minergie P standard and will be DGNB Gold certified. An avenue of trees and a fountain will enhance the surroundings.
