Scott Summerville: Microscan's New President
Microscan announces the appointment of Scott Summerville as President.
Summerville brings more than 20 years experience in the automation industry to Microscan, having spent most of his professional career to date at Rockwell Automation. He spent 10 years with Rockwell in Asia, initially overseeing the company's marketing activities, eventually taking on responsibility for the Chinese market, and ultimately running the entire Asia Pacific region as President. Summerville most recently held the position of Vice President and General Manager, Public Safety Systems Division for Federal Signal Corporation.
"My primary goal as president of Microscan is growth," says Summerville, who acknowledges many opportunities in the company's core markets. "Manufacturers in the electronics, automotive and life sciences markets need more data to secure, track, and trace their products and optimize the supply chain."
Summerville has degrees in Environmental Design from Miami University, Ohio, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Illinois.
