Polytec founder and philanthropist Liselotte Lossau has been awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for her charitable hospice work. The award of the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon took place at the Polytec headquarters in Waldbronn and, due to the corona, only in a small group.

The Karlsruhe District Administrator Dr. Christoph Schnaudigel presented Liselotte Lossau with the highest honor in the Federal Republic of Germany on behalf of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and gave the laudatory speech. It is thanks to Ms. Lossau that we have a comprehensive network of outpatient and inpatient hospice work with sustainable, secure funding in the city and district of Karlsruhe, according to the district administrator. Lossau has been involved in the foundation's board of directors for hospice work in the city and district of Karlsruhe for around 20 years, as chairwoman of the board for 10 years and as honorary chairwoman since March.
