Pleora Launches New Professional Services to Simplify Vision System Design

Pleora Technologies announced a new professional services program that helps vision system designers and manufacturers speed time-to-market, reduce costs, and lower risk for imaging projects with unique performance requirements. Pleora's video interfaces, deployed in over 200,000 endpoints in industrial, medical, military, and transportation imaging systems, have the capacity to transmit 17 billion gigabits of data per day - the equivalent of about 40 million feature length movies. Pleora's Professional Services program builds on this extensive system knowledge and product expertise to help designers and manufacturers meet unique feature, footprint, and cost requirements.

"Our Professional Services program provides direct access to our industry-leading design team, system expertise, standards knowledge, and market-proven video interface products," said Harry Page, President, Pleora Technologies. "Our high-value design service, which includes tailoring existing video interface products and software or custom solution development, is the simplest and most cost-effective way for manufacturers to meet unique performance or application requirements."

End-to-End Turnkey Solution

Through the Pleora Professional Services program, manufacturers and system integrators work directly with a dedicated project manager and the company's design and applications engineering teams. Once the product concept and specification requirements are fully defined, Pleora's design team can customize the company's off-the-shelf GigE Vision and USB3 Vision video interface hardware and software products, or develop a unique solution to meet feature, footprint, and cost requirements. For example, Pleora has led dozens of successful projects for customers, including custom design of GigE Vision over wireless video interface products, redesign of existing video interface solutions to meet network connectivity and footprint requirements, and porting of software to new target platforms and operating systems for imaging system manufacturers.

Following design, Pleora fully manages the development, integration, testing, validation, and production processes. The end result is a customized turnkey solution that is backed by comprehensive training, documentation, and technical support. Extending beyond development, Pleora's complete product lifecycle management of the solution helps confirm a secure, reliable, and cost-effective supply chain that ensures long-term product success.
