20.11.2020 -

Effective November 9, Tony Beswick assumed responsibility for sales of the product, service and solution offering within the EMEA region at Physik Instrumente (PI).

Beswick grew up in the Netherlands and later studied mechanical engineering and economics at the University of Sussex in the UK. He speaks four languages - Dutch, English, German and French - and has extensive knowledge in marketing and sales, strategy development and implementation, general management, manufacturing and engineering.

During his 25+ year career, Beswick worked in manufacturing engineering at Morgan Advanced Materials, followed by business development and general management positions at several of the company's sites. He has been particularly involved with piezoceramics, sensors and transducers. In his position as Managing Director in the "Global Piezo Business & Certech Europe" division, he was responsible for the strategic direction and sales of several companies in the UK and USA. As Vice President of Sales at the German company Ceramtec, Beswick was responsible for sales in seven countries in sectors such as aerospace, medical technology, metrology and industrial engineering.

"I am happy to get the chance to contribute to the continuous success of PI and I look forward to meeting my colleagues in person and virtually in the weeks to come. To be able to lead PI Sales in the EMEA region, with its extensive and multifaceted product portfolio, is an exciting challenge which I accept with pleasure," states Beswick.
