Phabulous announces its new Head of Business & Sales
The Phabulous Pilot Line Association, the new European one-stop-shop for the manufacturing of free-form micro-optics, has recently hired Jessica van Heck as new head of business and sales. With this high-level strategic hiring, the pilot line front office is now fully operational and ready to offer accelerated innovation and production cycles from prototyping to piloting up to large volume production.
The Phabulous Pilot Line Association was founded in October 2020 within the framework of the H2020 European project Phabulous. As an independent legal entity, the Pilot Line Association will provide customers with a single-entry point to the pilot line and its services for companies aiming to pilot and produce devices integrating free-form micro-optical components.
As new head of business and sales, van Heck will be the cornerstone in the development of the business opportunities, thus enabling the association to support its customers, while creating a sustainable business model. Jessica has a bachelor degree in engineering and over twenty years of experience in the corporate world ranging from sales and marketing to business and product development. “As an engineer I love understanding technology and as a business developer I love converting that knowledge into the benefits that these technologies have to offer to its end-users,” says van Heck.
Free-form micro-optics is offering miniaturized solutions that open up more applications with better performance at lower costs.
