New member of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Executive Board

David Reger, founder and CEO of Neura Robotics, has been appointed as a new member of the board of directors

Reger succeeds Enno Scharphuis, who stepped down from the Management Board in August 2025.

Reger expressed his delight at his appointment. He wants to bring the opportunities of cognitive and humanoid robotics more strongly into the association's work. Reger emphasizes that robotics and physical AI will become a new economic pillar for Germany and Europe. He encourages us to play an active role in shaping this change and to develop technologies that will have a global impact.
