Frank Paul Nonnenmann has replaced Michael Unger as managing director at Balluff. After more than 28 years with the company and 20 years as managing director, Unger joins the advisory board of the Neuhaus-based family business. Like Unger, his successor is also responsible for setting up the global production and logistics network and the Machine & Plant Engineering (MPE) division. Unger's function as spokesperson of the management board is taken over by managing director Katrin Stegmaier-Hermle.

Through his career to date, Nonnenmann brings with him a wealth of experience in setting up and developing purchasing, manufacturing and logistics organisations in international corporations. In his previous position as Vice President Quality and Operations at ABB in Zurich he was responsible for the supply chain of the transformer and grid distribution division. Before ABB, he held various international management positions in the Honeywell Group, for example in the USA, China and Great Britain. During his time in the USA, Nonnenmann also had contact with Balluff as Vice President Global Supply Chain in the Sensing & Control division, because Honeywell is one of the suppliers to the sensor and automation specialist.
