Neura Robotics takes over EK Robotics

EK Robotics wants to secure its future through takeover

Neura Robotics takes over EK Robotics

EK Robotics, manufacturer of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), has found a new owner in Neura Robotics. The aim is to secure the long-term future of the long-established company.

With Neura Robotics, a dynamically growing high-tech company from Metzingen in the field of cognitive robotics, EK Robotics is gaining a partner that will set the course for the further development of intelligent, autonomous logistics solutions and open up new opportunities for customers, partners and employees.

The takeover is the result of the debtor-in-possession restructuring proceedings, in which intensive work has been carried out in recent weeks to find a viable solution.

As part of the transaction, the company will operate under the name Neura Mobile Robotics GmbH in future. The established EK Robotics brand will be retained as an independent brand and will continue to be present on the market. Operational responsibility will continue to lie with Andreas Lindemann, who will lead the company into the future in his role as Managing Director. The business operations of EK Robotics will continue without restriction. All existing customer and supplier relationships will be continued and all services are permanently secured. In addition to the German company, the subsidiaries in England, Italy and the Czech Republic are also part of the transaction - they were not affected by the proceedings.
