MVTec has reorganized its Merlic team: Ulf Schulmeyer took over product management for the easy-to-use software Merlic in mid-2023. He has more than 20 years of experience as a product manager for B2B software. His main task will be to further advance the development and strategic positioning of Merlic together with the product team and to meet the increasing demand for easy-to-use image processing software.

MVTec Merlic is particularly suitable for machine vision beginners who are looking for powerful standard software to create complete image processing applications. With the tool library integrated in Merlic, all important image processing tasks can be easily solved - whether measuring, checking for presence, code reading or surface inspections. The workflow can be easily set up using drag and drop. The individual process steps can be individually parameterized and moved as required if necessary. Even sophisticated deep learning applications can be implemented with Merlic.
