Christian Vollrath, Head of Computer Vision at Wenglor, and Dr. Olaf Munkelt, Managing Director at MVTec, sealed the deepened partnership between the two companies at the Automatica 2023 trade fair in Munich. The aim of the partnership is for the two companies to work even more closely together in the development and implementation of sophisticated solutions for industrial image processing.

The first result of the collaboration was presented at the Wenglor stand at Automatica 2023: the smart cameras of the new B60 series. For the first time, these cameras now have the option of accessing the performance and flexibility of MVTec's Halcon software. Wenglor's parameterization-based Univision 3 software is combined with programmable Halcon scripts in a user-friendly interface.
