Marius Westermann new CEO at Smartray

Marius Westermann is the new CEO of Smartray. He manages the company, which specializes in 3D sensors for measuring tasks for quality control and robot guidance, together with company founder, owner and managing director Mathias Reiter. Marius Westermann has more than 25 years of experience in industrial image processing and automation technology, including executive positions in Asia, Europe and the US for companies such as Cognex and Ametek.

Eric Ceyrolle, former Managing Director, will remain with the company as senior advisor. In his new role, he brings more than 25 years of expertise in the industrial machine vision market, as well as many years of experience as head of marketing and sales organization for SmartRay.
