Laser Components has appointed Sven Schreiber as an additional managing director. Schreiber, who has been responsible for the company's sales and marketing activities as head of sales since 2014, will in future manage the company's affairs together with owner Patrick Paul. Schreiber came into contact with the photonics industry while studying business administration and economics in the USA and joined the company as export manager in 2002. He played a decisive role in the expansion of the worldwide distributor network, which remains a key success factor for the group to this day.

Patrick Paul, the group's owner, emphasizes the many years of successful collaboration with Schreiber and the consensus on strategic decisions. Since Paul would like to focus more on the group's international activities in the future, it was a natural step to transfer responsibility for business in Germany to Sven Schreiber.
