Jenoptik opens new production building in France

At Bayeux in Normandy, Jenoptik has invested in the latest production environments for its approximately 60 employees in industrial metrology. The new building has a total area of about 2,500 square meters. Construction began in the spring of 2018 and the employees moved into their new jobs earlier this year.

 

The old company building from the 1930s had been extended over decades and was no longer meeting the requirements of modern production environments. "In the new building, we can offer our customers, employees and partners a modern environment, and are also an attractive partner for universities and colleges," says site manager Marc Schuh. Contact with research institutions should be considerably expanded.
