Hummel strengthens global sales network for connection technology
The company is realigning its Global Account & Industry Management division

Gilles Hernandez has been responsible for this area as Vice President since the beginning of 2026. He brings with him over 20 years of international experience in business development, key account management and leading intercultural teams.
The aim of the reorganization is to combine customer, market and technology perspectives in an integrated approach. With seven production sites and eight sales offices, Hummel aims to increase its competitiveness and exploit international market opportunities in a more structured way. Support will be more industry- and market-oriented in order to develop from a pure component supplier into a solution-oriented partner. Globally active customers should benefit from consistent, transnational support that combines global expertise with local market understanding.
