Hima introduces new General Manager for America
Jerry Duque has been General Manager of Hima's North American operations since July 2023.
He had already taken on the role of legal representative there on December 1, 2022. Duque, along with the entire Hima Americas team, will continue to drive business growth in North America.
Jerry Duque succeeds Frits Luikenaar, who retired in December 2022. With the appointment, the provider of safety-related automation solutions is following the strategy of strengthening customer proximity in important markets and expanding the sales and service presence.
An electrical engineer and MBA with experience in the oil and gas industry, Jerry Duque started his career at Hima in 2014 and has held various positions as sales director in different regions - since 2021 as sales director for the USA and Canada. In addition to his role as general manager, Duque will continue to serve as sales director for the US and Canada.
