Hikvision has announced version 2.0 of the Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP), which provides easier access to Hikvision's AIoT hardware products and technologies for partners and developers to support value sharing for customers.

HEOP 2.0 provides Hikvision partners with a unified, open, and secure environment for running and managing applications. With its open architecture, the platform supports the independent deployment of containers and the embedded use of algorithms or third-party components on Hikvision hardware, resulting in highly flexible integrated devices. Different from traditional HEOP software, HEOP 2.0 makes it easier for partners to leverage proprietary deep learning algorithms on Hikvision's edge devices, enabling smarter and more customized applications for end users.
