Hikrobot presents new products online

Hikrobot will unveil new machine vision products at the upcoming online event, April 18th

Being the eyes of most automation equipment, machine vision plays a critical role in driving the trend toward smart manufacturing. It enables robots, co-bots and operators to visualize the manufacturing process through image acquisition, processing and analysis.

Digging into AI Deep Learning, 3D Vision, Optical Fiber Transmission, Hyperspectral Imaging, and Multi-sense Perception, Hikrobot continues to optimize machine vision hardware and software products to match actual customer needs and explore new opportunities for more complex industrial application scenarios.

On April 18, Hikrobot will unveil new machine vision innovations, including new industrial cameras/interfaces for high speed applications, a new version of Vision Master software with better algorithm performance, new industrial code readers from fixed to handheld, new smart cameras with compact size and powerful built-in algorithms, and new 3D cameras for high-precision measurement and robotics applications.

Take the 3D camera for example, Hikrobot 3D vision technology focuses on two areas: high-precision measurement and robot grasping applications. Combining finely designed hardware and powerful algorithms, the new laser profile uses the principle of line laser triangulation to obtain 3D information of moving objects to achieve fast and high-precision measurement. Equipped with anti-reflective interference, the new line laser is able to cope with a variety of applications even dealing with metal surfaces. With abundant data interfaces and trigger modes, it can be integrated into various automatic equipment with maximized flexibility.

In order to achieve a great balance between bandwidth and data cost, Hikrobot will launch a new interface called X-Over-Fiber, where Fiber indicates that the interfaces optical fiber as the transmission medium and X stands for any high-speed interface protocol. Image: Hikrobot

In industries such as semiconductor, lithium batteries and printing, industrial cameras must capture images of fast-moving objects. In these circumstances, the CoaxPress data interface is commonly used to set up the image acquisition system because of its high bandwidth. However, the data cost of CoaxPress data interface is somewhat high. In order to achieve a great balance between bandwidth and data cost, Hikrobot will launch a new interface called X-Over-Fiber, where Fiber indicates that the interfaces optical fiber as the transmission medium and X stands for any high-speed interface protocol. With this new interface, customers can gain a fluid user experience for high-speed applications.
