Helukabel is a new member of the IPAI innovation platform. This platform promotes the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) through collaboration between companies, research institutes and institutions. Since its foundation in 2021, IPAI has been connecting players from research, industry and politics to support practical AI technologies.
Helukabel has already developed an optical inspection system with the joint venture nLine that uses AI to detect defects in the production of cables and similar products. The system monitors surfaces, colors and markings in real time and offers complete inspection density. Joining IPAI is intended to further promote such projects and optimize industrial connectivity. Helukabel plans to use access to a broad AI network to drive forward its own digital transformation and better master future challenges.
