GrayMatter Robotics has opened its new 100,000-square-foot headquarters and innovation center in Carson, California. This center represents a significant expansion and is considered the most advanced interactive robotics experience center for AI-powered manufacturing automation in the United States. The headquarters includes over 25 active robotic cells that perform real-world manufacturing operations on customer and partner parts. The state-of-the-art facility creates over 100 jobs in AI, robotics, engineering and technical support, with plans to expand in the coming years.
Unlike traditional facilities, the center offers an interactive experience where visitors can see AI-driven robots autonomously perform various manufacturing processes. GrayMatter Robotics' "Physical AI" enables robots to work without manual programming by using physical models. This technology is seen as the next stage of the AI revolution, going beyond digital intelligence to include physical applications.
