MVTec is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its “MVTec on Campus” program, which offers universities and students free software for academic purposes. To mark the anniversary, the program is being expanded. Franziska Hartl, responsible for the program, emphasizes the importance of machine vision in automation and the need to support future professionals already during their studies. A new addition to the program is access to the low-code software MVTec Merlic, which impresses with its ease of use and comprehensive functions such as deep learning methods.

In addition, students can now use the MVTec Academy, a digital platform with interactive online courses on MVTec products. This offers both basic training and in-depth content on machine vision. The anniversary will be complemented by a campaign with webinars that introduce students to the use of MVTec software.
