The EMVA Business Conference will take place in Stockholm from June 18 to 20, 2026. The agenda includes various aspects of machine vision, including a presentation by Michael Fischer, CEO of Eleven Dynamics, on the topic of "Smart Factory 5.0 - From Digital Twin to Real Twin".
Fischer will address the discrepancy between data-rich factories and the fact that decision-making is still often based on assumptions. His approach: the next stage of development in manufacturing lies less in the generation of additional data and more in qualitatively better real-time data. By combining automated measurement technology with AI-supported vision systems, the aim is to close the gap between simulation and the real store floor.
The aim is to create a "real twin" that is continuously supplied with up-to-date measurement data and supports autonomous decisions and self-optimizing processes.
