Eks Engel Expands Its Leadership Team and Announces International Growth
The automation specialist is expanding its management structure. Michael Matthesius, a new manager, is taking on responsibility for sales, marketing, and product management.

Eks Engel has restructured its leadership team. Effective September 1, 2026, Michael Matthesius assumed responsibility for sales, marketing, and product management. Together with Guido Viedenz, who is in charge of finance and controlling, he will be part of the leadership team alongside shareholder Ralph Engel.
By expanding its management team, the company is responding to its growth plans. According to the company, Eks Engel aims to expand its international presence and significantly increase revenue in the coming years.
Matthesius brings experience from international management roles and is expected to further develop the company’s market and sales activities in particular. Guido Viedenz will continue to oversee the company’s commercial operations.
