Edge-to-Cloud platform for the industry from Hilscher
The company is cooperating with Schwarz Digits on a European edge-to-cloud platform for industrial applications
It is based on the combination of Hilscher's edge and device management platform netField with the European cloud infrastructure Stackit Cloud from Schwarz Digits. The target group are industrial companies, machine manufacturers, OEMs and system integrators who want to roll out digital services and require data sovereignty and compliance in accordance with European regulations.
The solution enables the operation of applications in the public cloud, private cloud or on-premise and connects heterogeneous OT networks and existing machines to cloud resources in Europe. The platform thus addresses typical hurdles of industrial digitalization: secure connectivity, update and device management as well as security and sovereignty requirements. Supported scenarios include smart remote services, virtual commissioning, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and shopfloor device management. NetField is available via the Stackit Marketplace.
