Cretec Cybernetics becomes Vision On Line
As of June 1, 2023, Vision On Line has taken over the business operations of the insolvent Cretec Cybernetics. The managing directors are Andreas Schaarschmidt and, since July 1, Oliver Herrmann.

The headquarters of the newly founded Vision On Line GmbH is located in Langenselbold, east of Frankfurt. The company develops and implements solutions for quality assurance and robotics, which includes entire machines as well as plant subsystems.
In addition to the two managing directors, Andreas Schaarschmidt and Oliver Hermann, the company's leadership team includes sales manager and founder Joel Hurley. Hurley has over 20 years of experience in project analysis and implementation.
Managing Director Andreas Schaarschmidt comments, "Our practical experience in distribution, as a component manufacturer and from the design of a wide variety of sub-systems for mechanical engineering results in significant added value for our customers, which manifests itself in the fast, reliable implementation of tasks into economically successful and technically high-quality solutions."
Focus on combination of machine vision and robotics
A strong focus of Vision On Line is on systems in which the combination of machine vision and robotics technology enables 2D and 3D applications such as precise box gripping and solutions for separating, detecting and picking up objects. Partnerships with market leaders in robotics and with manufacturers of proven machine vision hardware and software form the foundation.
Customers of the company can already rely on available solutions such as, among others, an AI-based 3D vision system for automated gripping and sorting in the logistics sector, for example for depalletizing cardboard boxes and bags or a bin-picking system.
