Cooperation for innovative electric motors
Lenord+Bauer and Cast Coil have signed a cooperation agreement for the development of an externally rotor electric motor manufactured in Europe with patented Cast Coils.

The aim is to produce the first prototypes with cast stator coils made of copper or aluminum. This partnership strengthens the European value chain in the field of electric motors and offers an alternative to Asian drive solutions. Prototype production is planned for the third quarter of 2025 in Gladbeck, using European components.
Dr. Rudo Grimm from Lenord+Bauer emphasizes the importance of this cooperation for sustainable and reliable e-mobility solutions, especially for the transport drone industry. Franz-Josef Wöstmann from Cast Coil sees it as a contribution to Europe's technological sovereignty.
