The focus is on increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and conserving resources in production.
Key areas include the transition from tactile to optical and non-contact measurement methods, the use of X-ray inspection technology and computed tomography, as well as the integration of machine vision, image processing, and optical metrology. Another focus is on fully automated inspection processes in closed-loop workflows, supported by AI-based systems for image processing, measurement data management, and data analysis.
