Photonics specialist had co-founded spectroscopy company Avantes and led it as CEO until 2020.

“With this history and his many years of experience in the photonics industry, Benno Oderkerk is an ideal fit for our corporate strategy. In addition to value-added distribution of optics, thermal management and electronics, we are expanding AMS Technologies into a provider of custom-designed and manufactured systems based on our extensive technology portfolio. We are very pleased to have Benno Oderkerk join us on this journey,” Meise stated.

“As a born entrepreneur and photonics specialist, this task is particularly appealing to me,” says Benno Oderkerk. “Not only as president of the European Photonics Industry Consortium EPIC, I have known AMS Technologies for many years and am sure that I can contribute to the successful further development of the company with my input.”
