Automha Appoints Francesco Allegra as CEO
Automha has appointed Francesco Allegra as CEO. With the support of Comau and Invent, the company plans to further expand its business in a rapidly growing intralogistics market.
Italian intralogistics specialist Automha has appointed Francesco Allegra as Chief Executive Officer. With this appointment, which has already taken effect, the company aims to accelerate its growth within the Comau Group and further expand its collaboration with Invent.
This appointment comes at a time when the global market for intralogistics solutions is experiencing significant growth. Driven by the booming e-commerce sector and the constant evolution of modern supply chains, industry experts anticipate double-digit growth rates in the coming years. Automha aims to capitalize on this trend and further expand its portfolio of automated warehousing and logistics systems.
Allegra brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in the areas of operational excellence, risk management, and corporate governance. An industrial engineer by training, he has held senior positions at FCA, Comau, and Geox. In addition to his new role, he will remain Chief Operational Performance Officer at Comau, with the aim of strengthening strategic coordination between the companies.
According to the company, Allegra will build on Automha’s track record to implement larger projects, tap into new markets, and create additional international business opportunities. In doing so, the company plans to leverage synergies within the technology network comprising Comau, Automha, and Invent.
Allegra succeeds company founder Franco Togni, who will assume the role of honorary chairman. With this leadership transition, Automha is focusing on continuity while simultaneously pursuing stronger international expansion. The goal is to further strengthen the company’s position as a provider of automation and intralogistics solutions in an increasingly dynamic market environment.
