Atlas Copco acquires Extend3D

The Extend3D headquarters and the Munich team are now part of the Motor Vehicle Industry Tools & Assembly division.

Extend3D was acquired by Atlas Copco, a global industrial company based in Stockholm, Sweden. The Extend3D team will become part of the Motor Vehicle Industry Tools and Assembly Systems division within the Industrial Technique business area. In addition, Atlas Copco's sales and service network will be available to existing customers, making the technology accessible to entirely new customers and applications worldwide.

Atlas Copco serves customers in more than 180 countries and employs over 49,000 people. The technology and engineering pioneer has know-​how in a wide variety of industries worldwide. Among other things, Atlas Copco supplies intelligent tools and industry-leading solutions for automated quality inspection as well as for all types of manual assembly and post-processing operations.
