AMA Innovation Award 2027: Application Period for Sensor and Measurement Technology Begins
The prize is worth 10,000 euros, and the deadline for submissions is January 27, 2027. In addition, the AMA awards a special prize to companies that are five years old or younger.
The AMA Association for Sensor and Measurement Technology has opened the application period for the 2027 Innovation Award. Scientists, developers, and teams from industry and research can submit their innovations in sensor and measurement technology through January 27, 2027.
The AMA Innovation Award is endowed with 10,000 euros and has been presented for 27 years. According to the association, entries are evaluated based on scientific quality, the degree of innovation, and the market prospects of the submitted developments. The award is not tied to affiliation with a specific company or institution.
In addition, the association presents the “Young Company” Special Award. Companies that have been on the market for no more than five years, employ fewer than 50 people, and have an annual revenue of no more than 10 million euros are eligible to apply. The winning team will receive a free exhibition booth at Sensor+Test 2027.
The nominations for the Innovation Award and the winner of the special prize are scheduled to be announced on March 3, 2027, at the AMA press conference. The actual awards ceremony will take place as part of the opening of Sensor+Test 2027 in Nuremberg. There, the nominated teams will also present their developments to an industry audience.
