Adaptive Vision has acquired an online dataset annotation platform, Zillin.io. The product was developed by QZ Solutions company. Its goal was to provide an easy way to mark objects or defects on images used for training deep learning models. Thanks to a very convenient user interface and attractive pricing, the product has already gained popularity, especially among researchers and enthusiasts of AI-based image analysis. No information on the purchase price is available.

Adaptive Vision will further invest into the product development, transforming it from a basic image annotation tool to a powerful dataset collaboration platform. New version of Zillin is coming in April with team workspaces, role-based access control and new commercial plans designed for businesses that develop their own deep learning solutions.

For Adaptive Vision, it is a very important extension of its existing portfolio of deep learning products. Zillin will complement Adaptive Vision Deep Learning Add-on, a set five ready-made tools for industrial image analysis and the Weaver, an inference engine for anyone’s neural networks designed for processing images at the highest possible speed.
