Its hybrid architecture enables seamless switching between global shutter for artifact free tracking and rolling shutter for low noise, high dynamic range analysis. By integrating IR depollution and patented “Smart Upscale” logic directly into the 3D stacked silicon, the VD1943 delivers perfectly synchronized 5 MP color and 5 MP infrared streams without any external co processor. This “System on Sensor” approach brings advanced robotic and multispectral vision to cost effective microcontrollers, dramatically reducing BOM and power consumption for compact, fanless industrial edge devices.
