Space-saving solution for two-axis systems

Compared to the previous model, the size has been greatly reduced (reduction of seven centimeters in length), so that there are still size advantages compared to the use of two single-axis drivers.

The new driver controls the AZ motors equipped with a mechanical absolute value sensor, these are highly efficient closed-loop stepper motor drives. The same motors are also used to drive actuators such as linear guides, cylinders, turntables or rack and pinion systems. This means that the driver can be used in a variety of ways and covers a wide range of possible applications. With a combination of different drives, the management of the components is thus significantly simplified.

Wiring work is also required when using the two-axis driver. The driver is EtherCAT-compatible, and the connection to the fieldbus network is easy and convenient via the Ethernet cable. The setting and execution of operating data as well as the setting of various parameters, the output of alarm information and monitoring functions can be controlled via the network. Commands and status messages are transmitted in real time.
