Smart cameras for AI applications

There is no need for a separate PC for image processing, which saves space and costs, as well as simplifying system design and integration. Applications in the field of quality inspections and process monitoring, which have to process large amounts of data in a very short time for vision-at-the-edge computing, benefit from this in particular.

The AX Smart Cameras rely on the latest Sony CMOS sensors with 3.2 or 5 megapixel resolution and capture fast processes with up to 77 frames / s with high image quality and sensitivity as well as low noise. Based on Linux, they support any programming language according to the respective application requirements and enable the use of various image processing libraries and application programming interfaces (APIs). Thanks to the compatibility with GenICam and the M12 Ethernet and RS232 connections, simple, reliable and efficient integration is ensured.
