Production-Related 3D Inspection in Seconds
The technology enables fully automatic 3D inline measurement of large components in usually less than 10 s. Several triangulation sensors with free spatial arrangement detect objects almost shadow-free and measure even complex components, for example aluminium die-cast parts in the automotive industry, completely within a few seconds.
The up to 20 million measuring points per scan are automatically compared with the available CAD data. Due to the free geometric arrangement of the 3D scanners, areas that are difficult to access optically, such as undercuts or shadow areas, can also be captured and surfaces and volumes can be checked automatically. Component deviations can be displayed as dimensional deviations at defined measuring points and as false colour images.
